Hindi Meaning
"उत्तर दे रहा है। इतने पर भी मैं इसे बिना मारे छोड़ रहा हूँ, सो हे विश्वामित्र! केवल तुम्हारे शील (प्रेम) से। नहीं तो इसे इस कठोर कुठार से काटकर थोड़े ही परिश्रम से गुरु से उऋण हो जाता॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…He keeps answering back with defiance. Yet I’m holding myself back from taking his life only out of respect for your humility, O’ Vishwamitra. Otherwise, with this formidable axe, I would have cut him to pieces with ease, and in doing so, repaid my Guru’s debt without a second thought.”"
