Hindi Meaning
"जैसी नागकुल के रहने की (पाताल लोक में) भोगावती पुरी है और इन्द्र के रहने की (स्वर्गलोक में) अमरावती पुरी है, उनसे भी अधिक सुंदर और बाँका वह दुर्ग था। जगत में उसका नाम लंका प्रसिद्ध हुआ॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Just like Bhogavati, the splendid capital of the serpent clan in the subterranean region, known as Patal, and Amravati, the grand city of Heaven ruled by Lord Indra, Lord Brahma’s fortress on Trikoot Mountain was even more magnificent and vast. It became renowned across the world as Lanka."
