Hindi Meaning
"सती ने मरते समय भगवान हरि से यह वर माँगा कि मेरा जन्म-जन्म में शिवजी के चरणों में अनुराग रहे। इसी कारण उन्होंने हिमाचल के घर जाकर पार्वती के शरीर से जन्म लिया॥3॥"
English Meaning
"As Sati ji neared the end of Her life, She sought a boon from Lord Hari, to always hold unwavering love for the feet of Lord Shiv in every birth. In fulfillment of this boon, She was reborn as Parvati ji in the home of King Himvan, the presiding deity of the Himalayas."
