Hindi Meaning
"चतुर सखी ने यह दशा देखकर समझाकर कहा- सुहावनी जयमाला पहनाओ। यह सुनकर सीताजी ने दोनों हाथों से माला उठाई, पर प्रेम में विवश होने से पहनाई नहीं जाती॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Noticing Her state, a wise friend gently said to Sita ji, “Place the beautiful garland of victory around Shri Ram’s neck.” At these words, Sita ji lifted the garland with both hands, but overcome with emotion, She found Herself unable to complete the act."
