Hindi Meaning
"माता भयभीत होकर (पालने में सोया था, यहाँ किसने लाकर बैठा दिया, इस बात से डरकर) पुत्र के पास गई, तो वहाँ बालक को सोया हुआ देखा। फिर (पूजा स्थान में लौटकर) देखा कि वही पुत्र वहाँ (भोजन कर रहा) है। उनके हृदय में कम्प होने लगा और मन को धीरज नहीं होता॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Worried that she had put baby Ram to sleep, Mother Kaushalya went to check on him and found him soundly asleep. However, when she returned to the place of worship, she saw the same child eating the food that had been offered to the deity. Her heart trembled, and her mind was filled with anxious restlessness."
