"Seeing the divine grace of the two pairs of brothers—Lord Ram and Bharat ji, dark-hued, and Lakshman ji and Shatrughan ji, fair-complexioned, the mothers lovingly performed the ritual of breaking a blade of grass to ward off the evil eye. All four were the embodiment of humility, exceedingly handsome, and adorned with noble virtues. Yet, Shri Ram, the ocean of bliss, possessed these qualities in their fullest measure."
