Hindi Meaning
"नारद मुनि की (यह तपोमयी) स्थिति देखकर देवराज इंद्र डर गया। उसने कामदेव को बुलाकर उसका आदर-सत्कार किया (और कहा कि) मेरे (हित के) लिए तुम अपने सहायकों सहित (नारद की समाधि भंग करने को) जाओ। (यह सुनकर) मीनध्वज कामदेव मन में प्रसन्न होकर चला॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Seeing Narad Muni’s deep state of samadhi, Indra, the Lord of the Demigods, became fearful (worrying that he might lose his throne in Heaven to the great sage). Seeking to disrupt Sage Narad’s meditation, Indra summoned Kaamdev and honoured him with great respect. He instructed Kaamdev to go with his attendants and break Narad ji’s trance for his sake. Delighted at the task, Kaamdev, whose flag bore the emblem of a fish, set out toward Narad ji."
