Hindi Meaning
"(फिर बोलीं कि) विधाता ने जगत में स्त्री जाति को क्यों पैदा किया? पराधीन को सपने में भी सुख नहीं मिलता। यों कहती हुई माता प्रेम में अत्यन्त विकल हो गईं, परन्तु कुसमय जानकर (दुःख करने का अवसर न जानकर) उन्होंने धीरज धरा॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Then she said, “Why has god created women in this world? One who is under the control of others can never dream of happiness.” The mother was overwhelmed with emotion, but knowing that it was not an opportune moment, she recovered herself."
