Hindi Meaning
"जहाँ संत, शिवजी और लक्ष्मीपति श्री विष्णु भगवान की निंदा सुनी जाए, वहाँ ऐसी मर्यादा है कि यदि अपना वश चले तो उस (निंदा करने वाले) की जीभ काट लें और नहीं तो कान मूँदकर वहाँ से भाग जाएँ॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…It is an established principle that if anyone hears slander against saints, Lord Shiv, or Lord Vishnu, the Husband of Lakshmi ji, they should, if possible, silence the offender by cutting off their tongue. If that is not feasible, they must shut their ears and leave that place immediately to avoid hearing such blasphemy…"
