Hindi Meaning
"जो अति दुष्ट और विषयी हैं, वे अभागे बगुले और कौए हैं, जो इस सरोवर के समीप नहीं जाते, क्योंकि यहाँ (इस मानस सरोवर में) घोंघे, मेंढक और सेवार के समान विषय रस की नाना कथाएँ नहीं हैं॥2॥"
English Meaning
"The wicked and those immersed in sensual pleasures are like unfortunate storks and crows, who avoid approaching this divine lake (Shri Ramcharitmanas). This is because the lake lacks snails, frogs, and the tall grass often found along the banks, which symbolize stories that cater to materialistic desires."
