Hindi Meaning
"सुंदर पालकियाँ, सुख से बैठने योग्य तामजान (जो कुर्सीनुमा होते हैं) और रथ आदि और भी अनेकों प्रकार की सवारियाँ हैं। उन पर श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों के समूह चढ़कर चले, मानो सब वेदों के छन्द ही शरीर धारण किए हुए हों॥2॥"
English Meaning
"There were also various other elegant modes of transportation, including beautifully crafted palanquins fitted with plush, comfortable seats. Groups of distinguished Brahmins rode in them, appearing as if the very personification of the Scriptures and Vedas had set forth on the journey."
