Hindi Meaning
"क्षत्रिय का शरीर धरकर जो युद्ध में डर गया, उस नीच ने अपने कुल पर कलंक लगा दिया। मैं स्वभाव से ही कहता हूँ, कुल की प्रशंसा करके नहीं, कि रघुवंशी रण में काल से भी नहीं डरते॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…A warrior (Kshatriya) who fears battle is a disgrace to his clan. I speak only of what comes naturally to me, not to boast of my lineage. But know this: one born in the Raghu clan does not fear even the God of Death when it comes to battle…"
