तेहिं नाहीं कछु काज बिगारा। अपराधी मैं नाथ तुम्हारा॥2॥

Hindi Meaning
"बर्रै और बालक का एक स्वभाव है। संतजन इन्हें कभी दोष नहीं लगाते। फिर उसने (लक्ष्मण ने) तो कुछ काम भी नहीं बिगाड़ा है, हे नाथ! आपका अपराधी तो मैं हूँ॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…A child and a wasp are alike in nature, Saints never hold their faults against them. And besides, he has done no harm. If anyone is at fault, O’ Lord, it is I who stand guilty before you…"
