Hindi Meaning
"सखियों सहित रानी अत्यन्त हर्षित हुईं, मानो सूखते हुए धान पर पानी पड़ गया हो। जनकजी ने सोच त्याग कर सुख प्राप्त किया। मानो तैरते-तैरते थके हुए पुरुष ने थाह पा ली हो॥2॥"
English Meaning
"The Queen, surrounded by her companions, was overjoyed, like a parched paddy field revived by a refreshing rain. King Janak, too, felt immense relief and joy, as if a weary swimmer had finally found footing in shallow waters."
