कीन्हेउँ प्रगट न कारन तेहीं। अस कहि चरन गहे बैदेहीं॥2॥

Hindi Meaning
"मेरे मनोरथ को आप भलीभाँति जानती हैं, क्योंकि आप सदा सबके हृदय रूपी नगरी में निवास करती हैं। इसी कारण मैंने उसको प्रकट नहीं किया। ऐसा कहकर जानकीजी ने उनके चरण पकड़ लिए॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…You already know the longing of my heart, for You reside in the inner sanctum of every being. It is for this reason that I have not spoken my wish aloud,” saying this, Videhi ji (Sita ji) lovingly clasped the feet of Goddess Parvati’s idol."
