पुष्पवाटिका-निरीक्षण, श्री सीता-रामजी का परस्पर दर्शन – Shri Ram’s visit to King Janak’s garden, Ram ji and Sita ji catch sight of each other

"ऐसा कहकर श्री रामजी ने फिर कर उस ओर देखा। श्री सीताजी के मुख रूपी चन्द्रमा (को निहारने) के लिए उनके नेत्र चकोर बन गए। सुंदर नेत्र स्थिर हो गए (टकटकी लग गई)। मानो निमि (जनकजी के पूर्वज) ने (जिनका सबकी पलकों में निवास माना गया है, लड़की-दामाद के मिलन-प्रसंग को देखना उचित नहीं, इस भाव से) सकुचाकर पलकें छोड़ दीं, (पलकों में रहना छोड़ दिया, जिससे पलकों का गिरना रुक गया)॥2॥"

"Saying this, Shri Ram looked towards the direction of the sound and beheld Sita ji’s beautiful, Moon-like face. His eyes became absorbed, like the chakor bird that gazes upon the full Moon. His enchanting eyes forgot to blink, it seemed as though Nimi (the presiding deity of eyelids and ancestor of King Janak), had felt shy and quietly departed."
