Hindi Meaning
"इन (नाम और रूप) में कौन बड़ा है, कौन छोटा, यह कहना तो अपराध है। इनके गुणों का तारतम्य (कमी-बेशी) सुनकर साधु पुरुष स्वयं ही समझ लेंगे। रूप नाम के अधीन देखे जाते हैं, नाम के बिना रूप का ज्ञान नहीं हो सकता॥2॥"
English Meaning
"It is improper to declare one as superior or inferior or to draw any comparison between the name and the form of Lord Ram. Upon hearing the unique merits of both, pious souls can reflect and discern their significance. The form of Lord Ram is, in a way, subordinate to His name, as one cannot envision His divine form without invoking His sacred name."
