विश्वामित्र जी का राजा दशरथ से श्री राम-लक्ष्मण को माँगना – Vishwamitra ji asks King Dashrath for Lord Ram Lakshman to protect his yajna

"जहाँ वे मुनि जप, यज्ञ और योग करते थे, परन्तु मारीच और सुबाहु से बहुत डरते थे। यज्ञ देखते ही राक्षस दौड़ पड़ते थे और उपद्रव मचाते थे, जिससे मुनि (बहुत) दुःख पाते थे॥2॥"

"At his hermitage, the sage diligently performed Vedic rituals such as chanting, yajnas, and austerities. However, he lived in constant fear of the demons Marich and Subahu, who would disrupt and destroy his sacred rites whenever they saw him engaged in worship. This caused the sage great distress."
