Hindi Meaning
"प्राणपति (शिवजी) के चरणों को हृदय में धारण करके पार्वतीजी वन में जाकर तप करने लगीं। पार्वतीजी का अत्यन्त सुकुमार शरीर तप के योग्य नहीं था, तो भी पति के चरणों का स्मरण करके उन्होंने सब भोगों को तज दिया॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Establishing the feet of Her beloved soulmate Lord Shiv, Uma went to the forest and began her penance. She is very delicate and her body is not made for austerities, yet she fixed her mind on the feet of Her Lord renouncing all material enjoyments."
