"हे पार्वती! नारदजी ने जो कहा है, उसे सत्य समझकर तू जाकर तप कर। फिर यह बात तेरे माता-पिता को भी अच्छी लगी है। तप सुख देने वाला और दुःख-दोष का नाश करने वाला है॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…O’ Daughter of the Mountain, Parvati, keeping in mind that the words of Narad are true, go and do tapah (penance). Then your mother and father also like this idea, tapah provides happiness and destroys all the miseries and faults…"
