"भवानी जब पिता (दक्ष) के घर पहुँची, तब दक्ष के डर के मारे किसी ने उनकी आवभगत नहीं की, केवल एक माता भले ही आदर से मिली। बहिनें बहुत मुस्कुराती हुई मिलीं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"When Goddess Bhawani (Sati ji) arrived at Her father’s home, no one greeted Her out of fear of Daksh. Only Her mother embraced Her warmly, while Her sisters welcomed Her with sarcastic smiles."
