Hindi Meaning
"जो लोग इस चरित्र को सावधानी से गाते हैं, वे ही इस तालाब के चतुर रखवाले हैं और जो स्त्री-पुरुष सदा आदरपूर्वक इसे सुनते हैं, वे ही इस सुंदर मानस के अधिकारी उत्तम देवता हैं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Those who diligently recite Shri Ramcharitmanas are likened to the skilled caretakers of this divine lake. Men and women who respectfully listen to it with devotion are akin to exalted Demigods and worthy recipients of the grace and wisdom of Shri Ramcharitmanas."
