Hindi Meaning
"नींद में भी उनका अत्यन्त सलोना मुखड़ा ऐसा सोह रहा था, मानो संध्या के समय का लाल कमल सोह रहा हो। स्त्रियाँ घर-घर जागरण कर रही हैं और आपस में (एक-दूसरी को) मंगलमयी गालियाँ दे रही हैं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Even in sleep, Shri Ram’s beautiful face appeared so enchanting, like a red lotus gently closing at dusk. In every home across Ayodhya, the women stayed awake in joyous celebration, singing, chanting, and sharing auspicious names with one another."
