Hindi Meaning
"फिर उन्होंने कोसलाधीश राजा दशरथजी की पूजा उन्हें ईश (महादेवजी) के समान जानकर की, कोई दूसरा भाव न था। तदन्तर (उनके संबंध से) अपने भाग्य और वैभव के विस्तार की सराहना करके हाथ जोड़कर विनती और बड़ाई की॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Thereafter, King Janak offered his respects to Dashrath ji, the King of the Kaushal Kingdom, with the same deep reverence he reserved for his spiritual preceptor, Lord Shiv. With folded hands, he humbly praised and honoured Dashrath ji, expressing that this sacred bond had greatly enhanced his own fortune and glory."
