Hindi Meaning
"हाथ चलता नहीं, क्रोध से छाती जली जाती है। (हाय!) राजाओं का घातक यह कुठार भी कुण्ठित हो गया। विधाता विपरीत हो गया, इससे मेरा स्वभाव बदल गया, नहीं तो भला, मेरे हृदय में किसी समय भी कृपा कैसी?॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…My hand refuses to move, yet my chest burns with rage. Alas, this axe, once the slayer of kings, has grown dull. The Creator Himself must be displeased with me, for my nature has changed. How else could mercy find a place in my heart?"
