जौं पै प्रभु प्रभाउ कछु जाना। तौ कि बराबरि करत अयाना॥1॥

Hindi Meaning
"हे नाथ ! बालक पर कृपा कीजिए। इस सीधे और दूधमुँहे बच्चे पर क्रोध न कीजिए। यदि यह प्रभु का (आपका) कुछ भी प्रभाव जानता, तो क्या यह बेसमझ आपकी बराबरी करता ?॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…“O’ Lord, have mercy on the child. Do not take offence, he is but an innocent boy, still wet with his mother’s milk. Had he known the extent of your might, my Lord, how could he ever have been so reckless as to stand against you?…"
