जनक जी की निराशाजनक वाणी, श्री लक्ष्मण जी का क्रोध, विश्वामित्रजी का राम जी को धनुष तोड़ोने के लिये बोलना – King Janak’s disappointment, Shri Lakshman’s anger, Guru ji instructs Ram ji to break the bow

"सीताजी की वाणी रूपी भ्रमरी को उनके मुख रूपी कमल ने रोक रखा है। लाज रूपी रात्रि को देखकर वह प्रकट नहीं हो रही है। नेत्रों का जल नेत्रों के कोने (कोये) में ही रह जाता है। जैसे बड़े भारी कंजूस का सोना कोने में ही गड़ा रह जाता है॥1॥"

"Sita ji’s words remained trapped, like a bumblebee enclosed within a lotus (when it shuts its petals at night). Modesty, like the night, kept the bumblebee of Her speech from leaving Her lotus-like mouth. Her tears too stayed hidden in the corners of Her eyes, much like a miser’s gold, tucked away in some secret corner of his home."
