जनक जी की निराशाजनक वाणी, श्री लक्ष्मण जी का क्रोध, विश्वामित्रजी का राम जी को धनुष तोड़ोने के लिये बोलना – King Janak’s disappointment, Shri Lakshman’s anger, Guru ji instructs Ram ji to break the bow

"ज्यों ही लक्ष्मणजी क्रोध भरे वचन बोले कि पृथ्वी डगमगा उठी और दिशाओं के हाथी काँप गए। सभी लोग और सब राजा डर गए। सीताजी के हृदय में हर्ष हुआ और जनकजी सकुचा गए॥1॥"

"As Lakshman ji spoke these words in anger, the Earth trembled, and the mighty Elephants that support the ten directions of the Universe began to shake. Fear gripped the hearts of the people and the assembled kings. Sita ji’s heart, however, was filled with joy, while King Janak turned inward in deep reflection."
