Hindi Meaning
"रात्रि का प्रवेश होते ही (संध्या के समय) मुनि ने आज्ञा दी, तब सबने संध्यावंदन किया। फिर प्राचीन कथाएँ तथा इतिहास कहते-कहते सुंदर रात्रि दो पहर बीत गई॥1॥"
English Meaning
"As dusk approached, Sage Vishwamitra gave the command, and everyone performed their evening prayers. Afterwards, the Sage narrated ancient legends and stories from the Scriptures, and in this manner, six hours of the evening quietly passed."
