जौं सखि इन्हहि देख नरनाहू। पन परिहरि हठि करइ बिबाहू॥1॥

Hindi Meaning
"श्री रामचन्द्रजी की छबि देखकर कोई एक (दूसरी सखी) कहने लगी- यह वर जानकी के योग्य है। हे सखी! यदि कहीं राजा इन्हें देख ले, तो प्रतिज्ञा छोड़कर हठपूर्वक इन्हीं से विवाह कर देगा॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Beholding Lord Ram’s beauty, one of the women said, “He is the perfect match for Janaki (Sita ji). O’ Friend, if the King were to lay eyes on Him, he would abandon his vow of marrying Her only to the one who breaks Lord Shiv’s bow and would at once insist on their (Shri Ram and Sita ji’s) union.”"
