Hindi Meaning
"स्वायम्भुव मनु और (उनकी पत्नी) शतरूपा, जिनसे मनुष्यों की यह अनुपम सृष्टि हुई, इन दोनों पति-पत्नी के धर्म और आचरण बहुत अच्छे थे। आज भी वेद जिनकी मर्यादा का गान करते हैं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Swayambhu Manu ji and his wife Shatrupa ji are the progenitors of the human race, unmatched in their creation. Both upheld the highest religious principles and moral conduct, and to this day, the Vedas sing praises of their noble character."
