Hindi Meaning
"सुमंत्र ने रथ को हाँका, घोड़े श्री रामचन्द्रजी की ओर देख-देखकर हिनहिनाते हैं। यह देखकर निषाद लोग विषाद के वश होकर सिर धुन-धुनकर (पीट-पीटकर) पछताते हैं॥99॥"
English Meaning
"As Sumantra drove the chariot away, even the horses turned their heads toward Shri Ram and neighed sorrowfully. The Nishads, overwhelmed with grief at the sight, beat their heads and wept loudly in anguish."
