Hindi Meaning
"धर्म की धुरी को धारण करने वाले राजा दशरथ ने धीरज धरकर नेत्र खोले और सिर धुनकर तथा लंबी साँस लेकर इस प्रकार कहा कि इसने मुझे बड़े कुठौर मारा (ऐसी कठिन परिस्थिति उत्पन्न कर दी, जिससे बच निकलना कठिन हो गया)॥30॥"
English Meaning
"King Dashrath, the very embodiment of righteousness, composed himself and opened his eyes. Striking his head in anguish, he let out a deep sigh and said that Queen Kaikeyi had dealt him a grievous blow."
