"All the people of Ayodhya were overjoyed to hear of Janak ji’s arrival. Shri Raghunandan, however, felt a sense of unease (“What if my father-in-law, King Janak, urges me to return to Ayodhya?”) Meanwhile, the Lord of the Demigods, Indra, grew deeply troubled, for first it was Bharat ji, and now the arrival of King Janak posed yet another possible obstacle to Shri Ram’s fourteen-year exile."
