Hindi Meaning
"श्री रामचन्द्रजी का वन जाना सुनकर भरतजी को पिता का मरण भूल गया और हृदय में इस सारे अनर्थ का कारण अपने को ही जानकर वे मौन होकर स्तम्भित रह गए (अर्थात उनकी बोली बंद हो गई और वे सन्न रह गए)॥160॥"
English Meaning
"The moment Bharat ji heard of Shri Ram’s exile to the forest, he forgot even the sorrow of his father’s passing. Believing himself to be the root cause of all the calamity, he stood motionless and silent, gripped by a deep and overwhelming grief."
