Hindi Meaning
"हे तात! ऐसी नीति विचारकर तुम घर रह जाओ। यह सुनते ही लक्ष्मणजी बहुत ही व्याकुल हो गए! इन शीतल वचनों से वे कैसे सूख गए, जैसे पाले के स्पर्श से कमल सूख जाता है!॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…So, keeping this principle in mind, remain in Awadh.” Hearing these words, Lakshman ji was filled with sorrow. The soothing words of Ram ji struck him like a touch of frost on a tender lotus, causing his heart to wither with grief."
