Hindi Meaning
"श्री रामचन्द्रजी के मुख को देखकर और राजा की आज्ञा सुनाकर वे रघुकुल के दीपक श्री रामचन्द्रजी को (अपने साथ) लिवा चले। श्री रामचन्द्रजी मंत्री के साथ बुरी तरह से (बिना किसी लवाजमे के) जा रहे हैं, यह देखकर लोग जहाँ-तहाँ विषाद कर रहे हैं॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Looking into Shri Ram’s face, Sumantra conveyed the royal command, and then led the light of the Raghu clan with him. Shri Ram walked swiftly beside the minister, without any royal adornment or entourage. Onlookers along the way were struck with sorrow, their hearts heavy at the sight."
