भरतजी का चित्रकूट में पहुँचना, भरतादि सबका परस्पर मिलाप, पिता का शोक और श्राद्ध – Bharat arrives at Chitrakoot, Bharat and party meet others, mourning of king’s death and homage to the departed soul

"यम (अहिंसा, सत्य, अस्तेय, ब्रह्मचर्य और अपरिग्रह) तथा नियम (शौच, संतोष, तप, स्वाध्याय और ईश्वर प्रणिधान) योद्धा हैं। पर्वत राजधानी है, शांति तथा सुबुद्धि दो सुंदर पवित्र रानियाँ हैं। वह श्रेष्ठ राजा राज्य के सब अंगों (स्वामी, आमत्य, सुहृद, कोष, राष्ट्र, दुर्ग और सेना- राज्य के सात अंग हैं) से पूर्ण है और श्री रामचंद्रजी के चरणों के आश्रित रहने से उसके चित्त में चाव (आनंद या उत्साह) है॥4॥"

"The brave warriors of this Kingdom are the spiritual virtues of ethical conduct (such as non-violence, truth, non-stealing, celibacy, and non-possessiveness) and disciplined living (including purity, contentment, austerity, self-study, and devotion to God). The mountains form its royal capital. Peace and noble intellect are its two pure and graceful Queens. This noble Kingdom is complete in all respects, with all seven limbs of good governance (sovereignty, ministers, allies, treasury, territory, fortress, and army), and its heart is filled with joy and devotion, as it lives under the loving shelter of Shri Ram’s feet."
