Hindi Meaning
"मन्थरा के प्रिय वचन सुनकर, किन्तु उसको मन की मैली जानकर रानी झुककर (डाँटकर) बोली- बस, अब चुप रह घरफोड़ी कहीं की! जो फिर कभी ऐसा कहा तो तेरी जीभ पकड़कर निकलवा लूँगी॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Hearing Manthara’s seemingly affectionate words, yet fully aware of her vile intentions, the Queen (who had been lying on her bed) sat up in anger and snapped, “Be quiet! Don’t you dare speak of such poison again, you wrecker of homes. If you utter such words once more, I’ll have your tongue torn out!…"
