Hindi Meaning
"सब हाथ मल रहे हैं और सिर धुनकर (पीटकर) पछता रहे हैं। मानो बिना पंख के पक्षी व्याकुल हो रहे हों। राजद्वार पर बड़ी भीड़ हो रही है। अपार विषाद का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता॥3॥"
English Meaning
"They rubbed their hands, banged their heads, and wept bitterly, just like birds thrown into panic after their wings have been clipped. A massive crowd had gathered before the King’s palace, and the depth of their sorrow was so great, it defied all description."
