Hindi Meaning
"यह समाचार सुनकर सब लोग सोच से व्याकुल हो गए, जैसे नए (पहली वर्षा के) जल के संयोग से मछलियाँ व्याकुल होती हैं। देवताओं ने पहले कुलगुरु वशिष्ठजी की (प्रेमविह्वल) दशा देखी, फिर विदेहजी के विशेष स्नेह को देखा,॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Hearing this news, everyone became anxious in thought, just as fishes grow restless when stirred by the fresh waters of the first rain. The Demigods first beheld the deeply moved state of the family Guru, Sage Vashisth, and then observed the special affection of King Videh."
