"हे तात! मैं तुम्हें अच्छी तरह जानता हूँ। क्या करूँ? जी में बड़ा असमंजस (दुविधा) है। राजा ने मुझे त्याग कर सत्य को रखा और प्रेम-प्रण के लिए शरीर छोड़ दिया॥3॥"

"…O’ Brother, I know you well, there is no doubt in my heart. But still, my mind is caught in a dilemma. The King turned away from me and chose the side of truth (he honoured his promise, even at the cost of losing sight of his beloved Son for fourteen years). And then, unable to bear the pain of separation, he gave up his life, but in doing so, he upheld his vow of love, proving that he could not live without that very Son by his side…"
