Hindi Meaning
"हे नाथ! सब लोग यहाँ अत्यन्त दुःखी हो रहे हैं। कंद, मूल, फल और जल का ही आहार करते हैं। भाई शत्रुघ्न सहित भरत को, मंत्रियों को और सब माताओं को देखकर मुझे एक-एक पल युग के समान बीत रहा है॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…“O’ Lord, the people are in deep distress, surviving only on roots, bulbs, and fruits. Seeing the condition of my younger Brothers, Shatrughan and Bharat, as well as the Minister (Sumantra ji) and all the Mothers, every passing moment feels like an entire lifetime to me…"
