एक कुसल अति ओड़न खाँड़े। कूदहिं गगन मनहुँ छिति छाँड़े॥3॥

Hindi Meaning
"कवच पहनकर सिर पर लोहे का टोप रखते हैं और फरसे, भाले तथा बरछों को सीधा कर रहे हैं (सुधार रहे हैं)। कोई तलवार के वार रोकने में अत्यन्त ही कुशल है। वे ऐसे उमंग में भरे हैं, मानो धरती छोड़कर आकाश में कूद (उछल) रहे हों॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…adorned themselves with body armour, placed iron helmets upon their heads, and sharpened their axes and spears. Some were highly skilled in defensive swordplay. Their enthusiasm was so intense, it seemed as though they were leaping through the air rather than standing on the ground."
