Hindi Meaning
"मैं स्वामी के काम के लिए रण में लड़ाई करूँगा और चौदहों लोकों को अपने यश से उज्ज्वल कर दूँगा। श्री रघुनाथजी के निमित्त प्राण त्याग दूँगा। मेरे तो दोनों ही हाथों में आनंद के लड्डू हैं (अर्थात जीत गया तो राम सेवक का यश प्राप्त करूँगा और मारा गया तो श्री रामजी की नित्य सेवा प्राप्त करूँगा)॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…To uphold the cause of my Lord, I shall fight on the battlefield, and my valour will shine across all fourteen Realms of the Universe. I will gladly lay down my life for the sake of Shri Raghunath. Either way, I am blessed, for both my hands hold sweet offerings (if I win, I serve my Master’s cause; if I fall, I attain His eternal abode and the bliss of His devotional service)…"
