"मेरी कुमाता कैकेयी समेत मुझे छोड़कर, कहिए और कौन कहेगा कि यह काम अच्छा किया गया? जड़-चेतन जगत् में मेरे सिवा और कौन है, जिसको श्री सीता-रामजी प्राणों के समान प्यारे न हों॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Other than myself and my unfortunate mother, tell me, who would truly say that this is the right course of action? Apart from me, is there anyone in the entire animate and inanimate world who does not love Sita ji and Shri Ram more dearly than their own life?…"
