Hindi Meaning
"वह उदास होकर भरतजी की माता कैकेयी के पास गई। रानी कैकेयी ने हँसकर कहा- तू उदास क्यों है? मंथरा कुछ उत्तर नहीं देती, केवल लंबी साँस ले रही है और त्रियाचरित्र करके आँसू ढरका रही है॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Consumed by anguish, Manthara went to Bharat ji’s mother. Seeing her upset, Queen Kaikeyi asked with a gentle smile, “Why do you look so troubled?” Manthara remained silent, breathing heavily. With the cunning of a manipulative woman, she began shedding crocodile tears and sowing seeds of fear."
