एक कहहिं भल भूपति कीन्हा। लोयन लाहु हमहि बिधि दीन्हा॥
तब निषादपति उर अनुमाना। तरु सिंसुपा मनोहर जाना॥2॥

Hindi Meaning
"कोई एक कहते हैं- राजा ने अच्छा ही किया, इसी बहाने हमें भी ब्रह्मा ने नेत्रों का लाभ दिया। तब निषाद राज ने हृदय में अनुमान किया, तो अशोक के पेड़ को (उनके ठहरने के लिए) मनोहर समझा॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Another person remarked, “In a way, the King has done us a favour, for through this exile, the Lord has blessed our eyes with the sight of His divine form.” Meanwhile, the chief of the Nishads pondered in his heart that the Ashoka tree would be an ideal and comforting place for Shri Ram, Sita ji, and Lakshman ji to rest beneath."
