Hindi Meaning
"ब्राह्मणों की स्त्रियाँ, कुल की माननीय बड़ी-बूढ़ी और जो कैकेयी की परम प्रिय थीं, वे उसके शील की सराहना करके उसे सीख देने लगीं। पर उसको उनके वचन बाण के समान लगते हैं॥2॥"
English Meaning
"The wives of Brahmins, elderly women of the royal household, and other ladies who were once dearest to Queen Kaikeyi began praising her for her modest nature and gently advised her to withdraw her demands. But their words struck her like arrows, wounding her deeply."
