Hindi Meaning
"हे रघुकुल के गुरु (बड़ेरे, मूलपुरुष) सूर्य भगवान्! आप अपना उदय न करें। अयोध्या को (बेहाल) देखकर आपके हृदय में बड़ी पीड़ा होगी। राजा की प्रीति और कैकेयी की निष्ठुरता दोनों को ब्रह्मा ने सीमा तक रचकर बनाया है (अर्थात राजा प्रेम की सीमा है और कैकेयी निष्ठुरता की)॥2॥"
English Meaning
"He said, “O’ Chief of the Solar dynasty, O’ Sun God, please do not rise today, for when you behold Ayodhya’s anguish, even your heart will be pierced with sorrow.” Dashrath ji’s boundless love and Queen Kaikeyi’s merciless cruelty, both seem to have been shaped to their utmost limit by Lord Brahma himself."
